
CFIS offers students in Grades 5 and higher the opportunity to further their athletics through Intramurals. Junior and Senior High students may participate on a variety of CFIS Vikings athletics teams which compete within the Calgary ISAA.

Junior and Senior High Vikings sports teams are part of the Independent Schools Athletic Association (ISAA) league. The objectives of the league are to promote among students an awareness that the primary aim of school is education and that athletics provide significant social, cultural and emotional values. As members of the ISAA, CFIS Vikings sports teams compete in the following disciplines:
CFIS offers an in-house after-school athletics programme for Grade 5 and 6 students. This programme allows the athletes to develop their knowledge and skills in various sports. Those involved in all facets of the programme are expected to demonstrate respect for others, good sportsmanship and dedication.

The School works actively with community groups to ensure that its facilities benefit the greatest number of people. We are excited to be able to offer use of our recreational facilities in order to benefit our extended community family. By maintaining our Public Private Partnership (P3) approach, we are dedicated to being an active and positive part of our community.
